A marketing site rebuilt for Core Web Vitals and for the marketing team to edit without a deploy — static where it can be, personalised where it must be.
Overview
The old site scored poorly on CrUX, every copy change was an engineering task, and the hero image was the LCP element loading late.
I rebuilt it on the App Router with content in a headless CMS, ISR for the pages that change, and the hero image preloaded and correctly sized. Partial prerendering keeps the shell instant while the personalised call-to-action streams in.
The marketing team now edits pages in the CMS and sees changes live within minutes.
